What is happiness?

Is there such a thing as true happiness? Everyone always says true joy comes from God. That’s always the cookie cut answer. They tell me to trust God. To listen to God. To read the Bible, and wait upon His Word. In the Lord you will find joy - they say.

But where am I now? I’m here in college sitting here writing a blog post at 1 am. Am I happy? How do I even begin to answer this question…

My life has been full of surprises, twists, and also its share of dull moments. But right now, I’m stuck. I pretend that life is great, that it’s a fun ride - full of experiences. But I’m here, not sure where to go.

Trust God. What can go wrong? I guess I just have to wait it out. Maybe one day I’ll find true happiness - or at least realize what it is. Maybe it’s disguised. We’ll just wait and see.
